Works out the yearly property tax for an owner-occupied or a non-owner-occupied home.
Open what property tax will I pay?
What it needs from you
- Annual Value
- The figure on your IRAS property tax notice, in Singapore dollars.
- Do you live in it?
- Yes for owner-occupier rates; no if it is let out, empty or not your only home.
How it works
This works out the yearly property tax on a home from its Annual Value and how it is used; it is an estimate, not a bill.
The Annual Value is set by IRAS, not by this tool, and owner-occupied and non-owner-occupied homes are taxed on different tables.
Source: IRAS, as at the checked date printed under the answer. Next: property tax.
Common mistakes
- Using the price of the home instead of its Annual Value.
- Using the owner-occupier table for a rented-out home.
