What property tax will I pay?
With an Annual Value of S$42,000 at owner-occupier rates, property tax is S$1,240 a year. This is a planning estimate.

Property tax is the Annual Value times the rates that apply to you. IRAS sets the Annual Value and shows it on your property tax notice. It is not the price of your home, and this tool does not estimate it.
Owner-occupier rates apply to one residential property that you own and live in. Another home, including one that is let out or left empty, is taxed at non-owner-occupier rates. At non-owner-occupier rates, the same Annual Value would be S$6,000 a year, a planning estimate.

Letting the home out? Renting out: how much stamp duty on the lease?
How this works
This works out the yearly property tax on a home from its Annual Value and how it is used; it is an estimate, not a bill.
The Annual Value is set by IRAS, not by this tool, and owner-occupied and non-owner-occupied homes are taxed on different tables.
